Penguins/Ovechkin?
I just recently made a post about the Penguins making "moves" for Ovechkin/Hossa. It is Ovechkin's choice to sign or stay. I also said Hossa, Ovechkin, etc. had VERY high interested in playing for the Penguins. The Penguins could either:
A.) Trade for them this year
B.) Have reps speak with his agent on what they will offer him and contribute for him if he decides to join the Team. Not once did I mention anything about signing him this year.
So with all this out of the way, why didn't the penguins push for players such as Ovechkin, Hossa, St. Louis, etc?
Why are they being stupid?
Simple as that.

Ok, one...Ovie isn't going anywhere. He just signed an awesome deal with Washington. He'd have to be out of his little crazy mind to leave.
Two...Hossa going to the Pens probably won't happen. Hossa is too good of a player for Atlanta to let go of, and I've heard rumors they probably aren't going to let him leave just like that.
